Quote #1: “But I don't know how I'll ever get a college degree and rise in the world with no high school diploma..” page 64 paragraph 5
Significance: This quote is significant because I think that Frank is taking advantage of the fact that he is away from Limerick and in New York and he thinks that things are going to get better, but he is slowly starting to realize that New York is no different then Limerick..
Response: My response to this quote was, I already new this was coming. I could see it, but I new the character in the book couldn't. So now that I saw that coming, I think I could see what is coming coming next which is worse.
Question: I wonder what is going to happen next. Do you know?
Quote #2: Then he tells us turn around, bend over, spread' em, I mean spread your cheeks. And then the doctor sits on a chair and we have to back up with our ares open for inspection.
Significance: This quote is significant because it shows how hard life was back in the day, and the kinds of things that would be not necessary happened. It shows how people did things in America.
Response: My response to this quote was, I was embarrassed for him. I would have a hard time doing that.
Question #2: How gross can things get?

Quote #1: Yah I agree with you that everywhere mostly is hard to have a better life and that he is trying to a degree in college that is going to be really hard.
Question #1: I think that the main character is going to try to figure out how to get a college degree.
Quote #2: Ahhhh man I really feel bad for the main character because it is ocward and I would never do that, and I think that the main character is thinking American health inspections are wierd.
